Area Winner

James Douglas, the current secretary of the Blackburn Castle Speakers Club, won the clubs evaluation competition and then went through to the next round at the North Pennine Area Evavaluation Competition which he was also successfull in winning.  The competition was held at the Darwen Masonic Hall on 14th January. James will now be competing at the District competition held at the Brittania Hotel Standih on 8th February and our best wishes for another win go out to him.

The aim of the Association of Speakers Clubs is to offer a supportive environment to all members in which to develop their skills in speaking to an audience and to gain confidence, all within a friendly environment.
